Visualize – Transnational Meeting in Innsbruck, Austria

On September 4th and 5th representatives of the VISUALIZE partner countries met at the Haus der Begegnung in Innsbruck, Austria for a transnational meeting. After all organizational matters had been settled, the partners presented the VISUALIZE activities that took place in their organizations. It was nice to hear that after initial difficulties all the coaches are currently successfully working with Visual Thinking Strategies. Especially VTS sessions held in local museums created exciting and interesting debates among young people, showing their different viewpoints and at the same time cultivating a field of tolerance and mutual understanding.

Closing the 1st day the partners strolled together through Innsbruck and finished the day with a VTS session led by the Macedonian partner in a public sculpture garden.

In the morning of the 2nd day all participants of the meeting were invited to a reception at the Majors Office in Innsbruck. On this occasion the Austrian partner presented the VISUALIZE project successfully to the Mayor of Innsbruck, Mrs. Christine Oppitz-Plörer and her team. The transnational meeting ended well and in good mood with a final discussion about upcoming deadlines.

The project Visualize: An innovative training concept for strengthening the tolerance and soft skills of young people, addresses especially these skills by equipping the youngsters with tolerance and overall soft skills by looking at art and responding to each others comments.
